Classroom Loan Bags
Lincoln City Libraries' classroom loan bags each contain approximately 15-25 copies of the same title. Available bags are updated each year to reflect the current Golden Sower nominees. As with any book, we recommend that educators read the book before they use it in order to determine if it is appropriate for their classroom needs. All public, private, and home school teachers with a Lincoln City Libraries card are welcome to use these bags. After-school care professionals and recreational book groups are welcome to use these bags as well.
The following guidelines apply to the use of these bags:
- Bags must be picked up and dropped off at Bennett Martin Public Library (136 S. 14th St.) during regular business hours. They can’t be left in a book drop.
- Reservations go by calendar month instead of regular due dates. If available, users are welcome to make a reservation for a two-month period. Bags may be picked up on the 1st of the reserved month, and are due back on the 26th of that month, or the next month.
- There are no late fees on overdue bags.
- To make reservations, visit or call Bennett Martin Public Library or email Youth Coordinator, Ali Bousquet: abousquet@lincoln.ne.gov.
Reservations for this years’ Honeybee and Meadowlark nominees will be available starting on September 1.
