Lincoln City Libraries Hosts John H. Ames Reading Series with Local Authors Allison L. Bitz and Alena Bruzas

Lincoln City Libraries and the Heritage Room of Nebraska Authors invite residents to a John H. Ames Reading Series event Sunday, Oct. 26. Local young adult authors Allison L. Bitz and Alena Bruzas will read from their recent books at 2 p.m. in the Heritage Room of Nebraska Authors at Bennett Martin Public Library, 136 S. 14th Street. The event is free, and downtown parking is free on Sundays.

Bitz, a Lincoln-based counselor and writer, is the author of The Unstoppable Bridget Bloom, winner of a 2024 Nebraska Book Award, and the new novel Three Things About Emmy Crawford. Bruzas, also of Lincoln, is the author of Ever Since and To the Bone.
