Welcome to Our New Website!

Since mid-2022, we’ve been working to enhance the Lincoln City Libraries’ Public Library website to better serve our customers.

Why Now?

This renewal to the design and navigation for LCL’s website is intended to improve the overall user experience, make frequently sought content easier to find, and bring the website up to expected standards for usability, mobile browser optimization, and accessibility.

Library staff and members from our City Communications team worked together with the website’s developer to analyze how the site was being used and what was desired for better efficiencies, best practices, and improved performance. We also conducted a review and inventory of the former site—and a patron survey—to better understand what was important for content migration to the new site.

Based on the information gathered we created a new, user-focused navigation for the website to help you find what you’re looking for – and make new discoveries, too!

Ongoing

Additional changes will be coming to the library website in the coming months, including a new calendar system that will provide better awareness of events and activities

We will continue to test the site and observe web analytics to find out how people are using the website so we can continue to adjust and improve along the way. But most importantly, we want to hear from you. If you have any concerns or confusion about finding content on the website, please submit it via this online form.

Thanks for visiting the new Lincoln City Libraries website!
