Lincoln City Libraries Winter Reading Challenge Begins January 1, 2026
Lincoln City Libraries invites community members to participate in the Winter Reading Challenge from January 1 through 31. This year’s theme, “Read with Benny,” combines reading, activities and Bingo for a chance to win prizes.
Participants earn virtual tickets for every hour of reading and each activity completed. Reading for 10 hours earns a Bingo and an extra ticket. Those who continue reading and completing activities can achieve a full-card Bingo, earning five additional tickets. Virtual tickets can be entered into prize drawings.
Participants may place all of their tickets into one prize package or spread them across several prizes. Each prize package includes two $25 gift cards to local businesses.
Winter Reading Challenge Prize Packages Include:
- Open Harvest and 402 Creamery
- Prehistoric Putt and Slim Chickens
- PlayStation and Amigos
- Canyon Joe’s BBQ and Sweet Things by Marcy
- Little Beans Play Café and Raising Cane's
- Marcus Theaters and Sower Books
- Sun Valley Lanes and Runza
- Lost in Fun and Culver’s
Early registration begins Monday, December 22. Register online at lincolnlibraries.beanstack.org, through the Beanstack app, or at any Lincoln City Libraries branch. Bingo cards are available at all branch locations as a fun way to track progress; reading and activities must be entered in Beanstack by January 31, 2026, to qualify for prizes.
