Snowplow Santa at Lincoln City Libraries!

Get ready for a unique holiday experience as Snowplow Santa makes his grand arrival at Lincoln City Libraries on Saturday, December 7! Santa will visit three locations—Anderson, Gere, and Walt Branches—traveling in style aboard a snowplow.

This free, family-friendly event offers something for everyone. Snap a photo with Santa and his snowplow, then head inside the library for crafts, refreshments, and a warm holiday atmosphere. It’s the perfect way to kick off the season!

The schedule is as follows:

  •     10 to 10:45 a.m. – Anderson Branch Library, 3635 Touzalin Ave.
  •     11:15 a.m. to noon – Gere Branch Library, 2400 South 56th St.
  •     12:30 to 1:15 p.m. – Walt Branch Library, 6701 South 14th St.

The program, a partnership between Lincoln City Libraries and the Lincoln Transportation and Utilities Department, began during the pandemic and has become a beloved annual tradition. It’s not just about holiday cheer—kids can climb aboard a real snowplow, meet the team that keeps Lincoln moving during winter storms, and learn about the vital work of snowplow drivers.

While you’re at the library, explore all the resources available. Check out books, sign up for a library card, and discover how libraries can be a cozy retreat during cold weather months.
