Lincoln City Libraries' Bookmobile provides individualized library service to a diverse population throughout Lincoln and Lancaster County. The bookmobile focuses service delivery to four main areas:
- County towns and cities
- Youth with emphasis on children at risk
- Seniors
- Areas in Lincoln not close to existing libraries
The Bookmobile Schedule gives the locations, times and lengths of the Bookmobile stops. The Bookmobile visits regular stops every two weeks. Note: the Bookmobile Schedule is subject to change, especially in winter weather.

The Bookmobile carries adult and juvenile fiction and nonfiction, magazines, DVDs and videos, audiobooks on tape and CD, computer games, and large print titles.
Requests for items not currently on the Bookmobile can be made by calling any library location, by placing holds through the library's in-house online catalog or on the library's web catalog, or by submitting titles to Bookmobile staff. Please allow several days for items to reach the Bookmobile when placing holds online or over the phone.
Other Bookmobile Information:
- Books, audiocassettes, magazines, videos, and juvenile CD-ROMs checked out from the Bookmobile are loaned for a 4 week period. Please bring your library card with you to check out items at the Bookmobile.
- You may telephone any of the Lincoln City Libraries to request a renewal on items checked out from the Bookmobile.
- Items borrowed at the Bookmobile may be returned to any Lincoln City Libraries location.
- Applications for library cards may be made at any Lincoln City Libraries location. An initial library card is free to Lincoln and Lancaster County residents and to individuals residing outside Lancaster County who pay Lancaster County property taxes. Lost cards can be replaced for fifty cents.
- Stay tuned to local radio stations KFOR and KLIN for announcements of cancellations due to inclement weather or emergency mechanical difficulties. If a stop is cancelled, books are automatically renewed.
