Lincoln/Lancaster County residents earning less than $50,000 a year are eligible for VITA services. Visit www.communityactionatwork.org for information or for a schedule of additional sites.

AARP Foundation Tax-Aide is available free to taxpayers with low and moderate income, with special attention to those 60 and older.

Free Community Tax Preparation at Lincoln City Libraries is sponsored and staffed by VITA and AARP trained volunteers.

If you are looking for a particular tax form, library staff would be happy to assist you; however, library staff is not trained nor allowed to answer tax questions.

Special Note About Nebraska Tax Forms:

In order to encourage electronic filing, the Nebraska Department of Revenue is not providing tax forms to the public library. You may print forms and instructions from the Department of Revenue's website
