The Audie Awards have been presented annually by the Audio Publisher's Association [APA] to honor publishers with a crysal Audie statue -- the only completed juried awards program covering audiobooks and spoken word entertainment. Over the years, both the structure of the awards, and the categories in which the awards have been presented have occasionally changed, as indicated by the varying categorie below. Additional information about the Audies can be found at www.theaudies.com, including links to sample audio files from some of the recent winners. Although many of the individual Audie Award-winning recordings are not owned by the Lincoln City Libraries, those titles in this list which are "hotlinked" to the library's catalog are currently owned by the Lincoln City Libraries. The remaining titles are provided for the sake of historical accuracy. Some of the recordings the libraries own may be in audiotape format, while others may be in CD format. Also, please keep in mind that this list is for the specific productions for the given years listed -- the libraries may own alternate productions of some of these titles!
