Adult Summer Reading Program — 2011
Your Favorite Travel Spots to Read

With our "Novel Destinations!" theme this year, we want to know where your favorite spot to read is while on vacation! Did you visit the Black Hills with a David Baldacci, or walk through New York's Central Park with the latest James Patterson? Do you listen to a downloadable audiobook or book-on-CD as you strolled San Antonio's River Walk, or was the latest bestselling biography in your travel bag when you and your family visited your sister in Fort Lauderdale? Did you download the E-book version of one of the Stieg Larsson thrillers to your Nook for the drive to the Grand Canyon? Wherever you're spending your summer vacation, whether it be exotic or familiar, let us know!

Whatever your reading pleasure, we hope you'll feel like sharing with us. We encourage you to have a digital picture taken of yourself in your favorite travel reading spot this summer, then send it to us, as an attachment to a piece of e-mail at adultsrp@lincolnlibraries.org.

Information to include in your e-mail:

  • Photo -- as a digital attachment

  • Photo Location -- A brief description of where the photo was taken, geographically

  • Your Name -- First name and first initial of your last name

  • Your Branch -- Which branch of the libraries you use most frequently
