OverDrive recently announced that most downloadable audiobooks are now compatible with Windows-formatted iPods (not with Macintosh computers; OverDrive has a separate collection of Macintosh-compatible audiobooks, but we do not have access to that collection at this time). Lincoln City Libraries staff are currently testing this combination, and there still seem to be some technical difficulties to be worked out.

If you have a Windows-formatted iPod and wish to try out downloading an audiobook, please look over this information first, and bear in mind that Library staff may not be able to assist you with technical difficulties.
