
Parents, you are invited to join a book group with your child. Meet new friends, learn more about each other and explore different genres by sharing the rich and varied world of books!
Lincoln City Libraries is offering four parent-child book groups starting this fall. These groups will meet once a month and will be lead by a volunteer facilitator.
For second and third graders and their reading partners we offer:
- Reading Partners at the South Branch, 2675 South Street meets on the first Monday of the month at 7:00. Please call South Branch at 441-8570 if you are interested.
- A group at the Anderson Branch, 3635 Touzalin Avenue on the second Thursday of every month at 7 p.m. To sign up, please call Anderson Branch, 441-8540.
For fourth and fifth graders and their reading partners we offer:- A group at Gere Branch, 2400 S. 56th Street that meets on the third Saturday of the month at 10:15 a.m. The first meeting is September 15th. Please call Library Youth Services at 441-8566 if interested.
